# Email Notification

The WP Relay plugin has inbuilt email templates which can be configured and categorized by the store owner.

There are 7 email templates available in WPRelay. Out of 7, 2 emails will be sent only to administrators and the remaining 5 will be sent only to Affiliates. The emails are:&#x20;

**For administrators:**&#x20;

* **New Affiliate Registration Email:** This email alert is sent directly to the store owner when a new affiliate registers on the platform.
* **New Affiliate Sale Email:** This email is sent to the store owner when an affiliate generates a sale for you.

**For affiliates:**&#x20;

* **Affiliate Approved Email:** This Email is sent to the affiliate upon approval of their account in the program.
* **Affiliate Rejected Email:** This Email is sent to the affiliate upon the rejection of their account in the program.
* **Commission Approved Email:** This Email is sent to the affiliate upon approval of their commission.
* **Commission Rejected Email:** This Email is sent to the affiliate upon rejection of their commission.
* **Payment Processed Email:** This Email is sent to the affiliate when their payments are completed.

**For example, here is a screenshot of an email when an affiliate account is approved:**

**How to enable/disable the emails?**

**Step 1:** Go to the WPRelay -> Settings -> Email Settings

Using this toggle, we can enable/ disable each Email and save the changes.&#x20;

**Affiliate Emails**&#x20;

**Admin Emails**

**Customizing the Email template**

It is possible to modify the Email template using the default WooCommerce Email editor. However, if you wish to alter the email template design, you'll need to create an override for the email template in your theme. Here are the paths for each template to create an override:

There is a simple method to override the file in just a single click.

Here are a few steps to customize the mail:

**STEP 1:** Navigate to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Emails -> click on the Manage button

**STEP 2:** Click on the copy file to the theme, which will automatically create an override on your template folder

**STEP 3**: Click on "**View Template**"

**STEP 4**: By clicking "view template", you can customize your email templates.

Once the files are overridden in your theme folder, you can then edit the overridden file and make your changes.&#x20;

After making changes, By clicking "save changes" you can save the file.
